DeMarcus Cousins is averaging 18.3 points and 13.5 rebounds and shooting 51.9 percent from the floor since Keith Smart took over as head coach of the Kings.

"I'm just trying to put all the silly stuff behind," Cousins said. "I'm trying to help my team win, and at the end of the day, that's all I want to do."

Cousins scored 21 points and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds to lead the Kings to a 98-91 win over the Raptors Wednesday night.

"He's a new player," Tyreke Evans said. "I'm happy for him. He's done a great job of just going out there and playing and helping us. No arguing with nobody on the team. Just staying focused, and I'm happy for him."
