Throughout his tenure with the Heat, Chris Bosh has been asked to alter his role multiple times.

Bosh is now operating at the center of the circle where he is a primary decision-maker. Bosh can shoot his long jumper, drive the lane to the rim or take a one-dribble jumper for a shorter shot.

“It’s a difficult position because you have to get involved, and I’m an unselfish guy,” Bosh said Monday. “Sometimes I have to be aggressive at that top-of-the-key position in order to get myself involved a lot.

“At any time, I can go. It’s on me to make that call.”

Bosh calls himself “the random guy,” as LeBron James and Dwyane Wade get specific plays called for him whereas he can randomly alter the direction of a play.
