Derrick Rose missed his second straight game Tuesday night and third overall with what the Bulls have reclassified as turf toe.

"You could say it's a sprain or turf toe,” Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. “There are some similarities between the two. He's sore. That's the bottom line. We just want to make sure we take care of that. This one is more on the top of the toe. That's what makes it different. He has some swelling so we have to get that out."

On a pain scale of 1-10, Rose has said his big left toe is a "6 or 7."
