Otis Smith hopes to eventually add Fran Vázquez to the Magic roster.

"That's the plan," Smith said of the Spanish power forward.

Vázquez's contract with his current team, FCB Regal, will expire this summer.

The Magic selected Vázquez with the 11th pick in the 2005 draft.
