Austin Rivers wants Duke to play with a no-tomorrow mentality.

“We need to realize before we play every game what’s at stake,” Rivers said. “And from now on, what’s at stake is the season.

“If we lose, there’s no more. There’s no more having team meals before the games and flying on planes with the team. All that fun stuff that comes with the team, it’ll be done for the rest of the year.

“That’s the way I’m going to approach everything and do everything I can to keep moving forward.”

Rivers said watching the ACC Tournament title game was wrenching.

“And that’s what we have to remember going forward,” he said. “If you lose early in the NCAA Tournament, you’ve got to watch the rest of the tournament. And that’d be terrible.”
