Junior college power forward Matt Korcheck has committed to Arizona's 2012 class.

Korcheck averaged 14.7 points and 6.5 rebounds for Cochise College and is seeking to redshirt the 2012-13 season.

A redshirt season “is definitely appropriate for him and he wants to do it,” Cochise coach Jerry Carrillo said. “Matt would not come to Arizona if they didn’t commit to a redshirt season.”
