Chris Obekpa will make a recruiting visit to Oregon later this month, according to one of his coaches.

“He has seen them play on TV a few times this year,” Our Savior assistant Eric Jaklitsch said. “He likes that they play an up-tempo style of play and they press a lot. He knows [incoming point guard] Dominic Artis from the Nike Skills Academies.”

Obekpa is a 6-foot-9 shot-blocker out of Nigeria.

He is considering DePaul, Cincinnati, St. John’s, Providence and UConn.
