Colangelo Calls Davis 'Long Shot' To Make Olympic Team

Jerry Colangelo called Anthony Davis a “long shot” to make the final Team USA roster.
Colangelo cited Davis' "inexperience" with the international game as a weakness compared to other finalists.
Davis, 19, has proven his ability to dominate a game without scoring, a skill that draws high marks from Colangelo.
"We don't have any shortage of scorers," Colangelo said. "Anthony has a chance to make his mark sooner rather than later just by rebounding, defending, getting up and down the court, being a team player. He doesn't have to score."
USA Basketball must submit its final 12-man roster by June 18.
