Phil Jackson has reopened the possibility of joining the Magic front office, according to two sources.

A revised version of the Jackson proposal was submitted to Orlando on Tuesday morning.

Sam Vincent is leading the proposal, which would have Jackson working remotely most of the time. Vincent would operate the front office while Brian Shaw would be head coach with Scottie Pippen as lead assistant.

One of the sources said Jackson is asking for a minority ownership in addition to a significant salary.

The Magic are nearing the end to their search for a new general manager, but sources say there's no clear frontrunner.
