Perry Jones III is intrigued about the possibility of joining the Brandon Jennings led Bucks.

"You always need a good guard, especially a young guard,” Jones said. “They like to run the floor. That's the kind of style I play, running the floor."

"I believe I can help a franchise turn around. Hopefully somebody will have faith in me, just like I have faith in myself."

Jones has a workout scheduled with the Bucks, who own the 12th overall pick.

"It's very important," Jones said of the workout process. "It may be the difference in me being picked 12th and me being picked eighth. Showing I'm not the person they think I am, showing I have a motor and can get after it in workouts and practices, whatever.

"Hopefully (my role) is very different. I sacrificed a lot in college. I gave up a lot of things, such as scoring, because I thought I had other people on my team that could score.

"I'm definitely more comfortable in the midrange area from 16 to 18 feet. I can either back down a smaller defender or face up a bigger defender."
