The Bulls offered Omer Asik a four-year deal with set percentage raises established by the new collective bargaining agreement.

But the Rockets took advantage of a loophole to increase Asik's to a maximum salary in Year 3 of anywhere between $14.1 million and $14.9 million depending on the salary cap. Asik will earn $24.2 million offer the three-year deal.

Chicago will have three days to decide to match the offer once it is formally signed.
