Noah Pulls Out Of Olympics Due To Ankle Injury

Joakim Noah will miss the London Olympics because he has not fully recovered from an ankle injury.
“I’m absolutely not ready, not ready to run, not ready to jump,” Noah said when asked about the possibility of joining the French national team. “And even less to play. I need more time and work. I’m not in form for someone who wants to compete in the Olympics. And given the problems that I have with my ankles, not going to the Games seemed to be the most reasonable decision.”
Noah sprained his left ankle in Game 3 of the Bulls’ Eastern Conference quarterfinals against Philadelphia and missed the final two games of the series.
