Parker Waiting On Spurs Approval For Olympics

Tony Parker has been named to the French national team, but has to wait for the Spurs to grant him medical clearance to play in the London Olympics.
Parker was scheduled to meet with an eye-specialist on Thursday.
“If you know our history, Pop (coach Gregg Popovich) is going to put the health of our players above all else in relation to putting them out on the court,” Spurs general manager R.C. Buford said last week. “It’s impossible for us to have an evaluation until we see him.”
