Krzyzewski: Team USA In First Stage Of Preparation For Olympics

Mike Krzyzewski sees the first two days of training camp as critical because the bulk of the playbook will be installed.
"We have to take this in stages," Krzyzewski said. "The first two days to get the system in while determining the final 12 is the first stage. Then the rest of our time here will be the second stage.”
After a condensed NBA season, Krzyzewski has to be careful not to overextend the team physically.
"Our use of the Select (practice) team will be different than in the past,” he said. “We're not looking for a lot of physical contact. But our guys are pretty energetic, and they're ready to go."
