Russia Beats Spain 77-74, Clinches Group B

Russia defeated Spain by a final score of 77-74 in Pool Play on Saturday. Both teams entered the game undefeated.
Vitaliy Fridzon led Russia with 24 points one game after making the game-winning three-pointer against Brazil. Timofey Mozgov had 12 points and nine rebounds while also dunking the go-ahead bucket in the closing seconds.
With the victory, Russia wins Group B and will not have to face Team USA until a potential Gold Medal game.
