Ric Bucher will become a radio co-host on 95.7 The Game in the San Francisco Bay Area, joining Brandon Tierney.

Bucher will continue as an NBA reporter for ESPN.

“Ric Bucher's credentials in our industry speak for themselves and he’s instantly recognized locally and nationally for his great work with ESPN.  Bay Area sports fans are going to learn quickly that he's a 20 year Bay Area native and his passion and knowledge for our local teams is outstanding,” said Jason Barrett, Program Director of 95.7 The GAME.  “Ric and Brandon Tierney will be an absolute must-listen during afternoon drive for Bay Area sports fans.”

“I cut my reporting teeth covering Bay Area sports and have lived here for most of the last 20 years so joining 95.7 The GAME feels as if I’m coming home,” said Bucher. “I’ve listened to and identified with the spirit and energy of the station from the day it started and I’m stoked about what’s building here and look forward to being a big part of it.”

Bucher formerly was a writer for the San Jose Mercury News and has been a frequent guest over the years on KNBR.
