The Los Angeles Lakers met with Phil Jackson on Saturday about their head coaching vacancy, but didn't reach agreement on a deal.

The Lakers intend to speak with Mike D'Antoni and Mike Dunleavy about the position in the coming days.

Jackson, however, is considered the overwhelming favorite to become the team's next head coach.
