Alexey Shved has become the best offensive option off the bench for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Shved has 84 fourth quarter points on the season and has played well enough to start, but Rick Adelman isn't planning on making a change.

"He's a guy we really rely on off the bench," Adelman said after Monday's practice. "He's shown us what he can do in the fourth quarter. We like to have the ball in his hands, and his decision-making has been pretty good. He finds people."

Ricky Rubio and Shved have been paired together occasionally in scrimmages.

"Ricky is a very smart player," Shved said. "Everybody around him plays much better."

"I'm still learning the system here," Shved said. "It's a different world for me. The first part of the season was difficult for me, but I'm playing better. I want to do everything the coach is asking me to do."
