Although the New York Knicks have listed Rasheed Wallace as day-to-day with a sore left foot, he actually has a stress fracture in that foot, according to a team source.

Wallace is expected to be out for an extended period of time and the Knicks hope he'll be back at some point after the team's three-game road trip that starts on Christmas Day.

Wallace, 38, hasn't played or practiced in 10 days and has missed the past four contests.

Wallace is averaging 7.2 points and 4.2 rebounds this season.
