The Boston Celtics have assigned center Fab Melo to their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.

Melo, a 7’0” center, has appeared in 12 games for the Red Claws this season averaging 10.9 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.83 blocks per game which ranks second in the D-League.
