Carmelo Anthony expects a hostile environment when the New York Knicks visit the Boston Celtics on Thursday.

Anthony and Kevin Garnett had repeated exchanges on Jan. 7 that ended with a suspension for Anthony.

“It’ll be fun. It’ll be a hostile environment and I’m expecting that. It’ll be a fun game, just knowing what’s at stake as far as us playing Boston in a divisional game. It’ll be a fun game,” Anthony said after practice Tuesday in Greenburgh. “From us, I mean, on my end, there’s nothing left over. It’s just another game that’s on the schedule. It just so happens that we play the Celtics and on their home court. As far as anything being left over, this is a new ballgame for us.”
