Dwight Howard is listed as day-to-day after aggravating the torn labrum of his right shoulder for the third time in the past three weeks.

Howard ruled out turning to surgery for the shoulder injury.

"I've had two years of having injuries," said Howard, who had back surgery last April. "It's not something that's easy to deal with. I'm not going to lose my spirit. I'm going to do whatever I can to get my shoulder strong."

Howard has worn kinesio tape along the shoulder to strengthen it.

"I'm trying not to get in a position where I could hurt it. But that's tough when I'm out there playing," Howard said. "I'll still try to be physical and aggressive."
