Kris Humphries was informed on Wednesday morning by P.J. Carlesimo that he is no longer part of the Brooklyn Nets' rotation moving forward this season, according to a league source.

Humphries has averaged just 18.4 minutes this season, a year after signing a two-year, $24 million contract with the Nets.

The Nets could have traded Humphries to the Charlotte Bobcats for Ben Gordon at the trade deadline, but they chose not to.
