Free agent guard Jannero Pargo plans to sign a 10-day contract with the Charlotte Bobcats on Thursday, agent Mark Bartelstein told RealGM.

With Ramon Sessions out up to four weeks with a sprained MCL, the Bobcats had been searching for stability behind Kemba Walker.

Pargo, 33, has averaged four points over 14 games this season with the Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards. His best game came in his first game with the Hawks on Jan. 21, dropping 16 points on four three-pointers.

Pargo is averaging 6.4 points in his nine-year NBA career.

The Charlotte Observer first reported the Bobcats’ intent to sign Pargo.
