Dennis Lindsey said recently that the Utah Jazz’s problems have been at the defensive end.

"The biggest area of concern is our defensive habits," Lindsey said. "That’s been chronicled all year long."

The Jazz are tied for 21st in defensive efficiency at 107.1, a full point worse than their rating from last season.

"Ty [Corbin] and everybody else knows that needs to improve," Lindsey said.

Al Jefferson has drawn criticism for his inability to contain opposing points guard on pick-and-rolls.

"I think it’s defense all around," Jefferson said. "Everybody. Not just outside. I think it’s inside, too. It’s a team effort, the way we set up our defense, that way when a guy do get beat there’s supposed to be help."
