The Miami Heat will have an enormous luxury tax bill in coming seasons if they keep LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on near-maximum contracts.

The Heat are $13.4 million over the luxury tax this season and their obligation will increase next season.

Pat Riley was asked on Friday if he believes the Heat will be able to keep the core together.

"It's doable in this tax economy. but I'm going to leave it to Micky [Arison.]"
