Mike Woodson may bench J.R. Smith if he continues to struggle in the second round against the Indiana Pacers.

Smith is 7-of-30 from the floor in his last two games and is 1-for-7 from beyond the three-point arc.

“If he’s struggling and I feel the need, I got to pull him,” Woodson said. “I will do that as head coach.”

Woodson said he hasn’t pulled him yet because Smith is still defending well.

“He’s missing shots and he’s not playing well from an offensive standpoint,’’ Woodson said. “He’s giving a lot defensively. That’s why he’s staying out there on the floor.’’
