The Toronto Raptors do not have many bargaining chips, but are approaching the draft as though they have a pick even though they do not.

“You never know what’s going to come your way,” Masai Ujiri said. “I think obviously you’ve studied the draft all year and you have the guys you like, the guys you don’t like, and how you rank them.

“And you go into it preparing like you never know what might happen on draft day.”

The Raptors were in a similar situation in 2007 and acquired the 58th overall pick from the San Antonio Spurs to select Giorgos Printezis in exchange for their second round pick in 2008.

The Raptors have never not made a pick in a draft in their 19-year history.
