Free agent forward Carl Landry reached agreement on a four-year contract with the Sacramento Kings, agent Mark Bartelstein said.

Landry’s new deal with the Kings is still being finalized, and it will be between $26 to $27 million and likely contains a player option, a league source told RealGM.

After opting out of his contract with the Golden State Warriors, Landry had been pursued by the Los Angeles Clippers and received high interest across the NBA. He averaged 10.8 points and six rebounds for the Warriors a season ago.

Landry, 29, played two seasons with the Kings and averaged a career-best of 18 points in 28 games with the organization in 2010. In six seasons, Landry has also played with the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Hornets.
