Free agent shooting guard Anthony Morrow has agreed to a two-year, veteran-minimum contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, a league source told RealGM.

The second season of Morrow’s deal will be a player option.

Known across the NBA as one of the best sharpshooters, Morrow played sparingly last season for the Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks, averaging four points. The Pelicans will be Morrow’s fifth team, and they made it a priority to sign floor spacers after acquiring Jrue Holiday and agreeing to terms with Tyreke Evans.

For his five-year career, Morrow, 27, has averages of 10.9 points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 42.4 percent from three-point range.
