Tony Snell has been compared to Kawhi Leonard.

Snell was the 20th overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls.

“I love it,’’ said Snell. “I mean to be compared to Kawhi Leonard . . . we’re talking about a phenomenal player. His defense is amazing; he works hard; he gets better every year. You can see the work he’s put in.

‘‘This season, everyone had a chance to see him in the Finals guarding LeBron [James], so that speaks for itself.

“How could I not like the comparisons?’’

Snell is attempting to combine his length with perimeter shooting to become a key part of the Bulls' rotation.

“This is the place I wanted to be,’’ Snell said. “I just know that I want to try to help this team win a championship.’’
