Jeremy Lamb will likely begin the season as the sixth man of the Oklahoma City Thunder with Russell Westbrook out.

Reggie Jackson will slide into the starter role, which will mean Lamb will likely be the primary scorer of the second unit.

“(Lamb's play) is going to be a little bit more magnified now that Russ is out,” Kevin Durant said. “But he's ready. I know he's ready.”

Lamb was acquired from the Houston Rockets last season in Oklahoma City's trade of James Harden.
