Steve Nash suffered back pain during Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves and will visit a doctor on Monday for further examination, the Los Angeles Lakers announced.

Nash did not return to the game.

Nash has missed a large portion over the past two seasons due to various injuries.
