Lamar Odom met with the Los Angeles Clippers' coaches and front office for nearly two hours on Friday, according to sources.

Odom appeared to be in good shape and gave Clippers players the impression that he could sign with the team soon.

"Everyone was shocked, but it was a good surprise," one Clippers source said of Odom's appearance.

Odom has reportedly received interest from the Clippers and Lakers on and off since the summer, but the veteran forward has dealt with personal issues.

Odom, 34, averaged a career-low four points and 5.9 rebounds in a career-low 19.7 minutes last season for the Clippers.

The Clippers have one roster spot open.
