Free agent shooting guard Damien Wilkins has reached agreement on a contract with Beijing of the Chinese Basketball Association, a source told RealGM.

Wilkins had been searching to latch onto an NBA team, but he decided to secure a deal with the Beijing Ducks, where he will play a shortened season and continue training.

Wilkins went to training camp with the Atlanta Hawks in October.

Wilkins, 33, has played nine NBA seasons with Seattle, Oklahoma City, Minnesota, his hometown Hawks, Detroit and Philadlephia. He had a resurgent season a year ago with the 76ers, averaging 6.4 points on 45.9 percent shooting.
