Mike Woodson planned to keep the New York Knicks together on Friday night ahead of the team's matinee game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday.

Woodson planned for the team to stay in a hotel.

“I’m not going to let them hang out,” Woodson said of his players. “We’re going to be together.”

The Knicks have lost by 31 and 41 points at home in afternoon games this season.

“Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t,” Carmelo Anthony said about the hotel strategy. “We’ll see about that tomorrow. I don’t think it will have anything to do with whether we stay in a hotel or not, but that’s what Coach wants us to do.”
