Andrew Bogut is sitting out due to a bone bruise and swelling in his left shoulder and phrased Mark Jackson's comments that the injury could have happened while the center was sleeping as "absolutely ridiculous."

Bogut said his injury occurred while playing in the Golden State Warriors' win over the Utah Jazz on Jan. 31.

"It's gotten worse and worse, so I just wanted to address it," Bogut said. "The sleeping comment is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know where it came from.

"It's definitely not the case I just woke up, slept on my shoulder wrong and have a bone bruise and swelling in my shoulder from sleeping, very highly unlikely I believe."
