The New York Knicks are active ahead of the trade deadline and Carmelo Anthony anticipates being consulted in the process.

“I’m pretty sure they would bring it to me,’’ Anthony said at the morning shootaround Tuesday. “They would keep me up to date on what’s going on. As far as making decisions, that’s their job. I’m pretty sure they will keep me informed. What’s about to happen and what’s going to happen.”

The Knicks plan on not acquiring a player that has a contract that would take up cap space in 2015. The Knicks want to sell Anthony on the prospect of adding a second superstar such as Kevin Love in 2015.

“It’s Tuesday, and I haven’t heard anything as far as trades,’’ Anthony said. “As far as today, nothing’s happening. I haven’t heard anything. We’re planning on moving forward.’’
