The New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers are discussing a deal involving Iman Shumpert and Raymond Felton for Darren Collison. Frank Isola of the New York Daily News report that the Knicks would also acquire Reggie Bullock.

The Knicks have been strongly pushing trading Shumpert in their hopes of upgrading the point guard position.

Doc Rivers is determined to be more athletic on the wing and Shumpert is one of the best young perimeter defenders in the NBA.

ESPN's Marc Stein is reporting that the Knicks are informing teams that a trade for Shumpert must include or Felton, or a first round pick in return. Stein reported early Wednesday evening that the Knicks could be closing in on a version of this trade that includes Matt Barnes instead of Bullock.
