Myles Turner has cut down his list of college choices to Oklahoma State, Kansas, Texas, Ohio State, Duke, Arizona and Kentucky, while SMU has rejoined the mix.

“They weren’t on my list last time, but they are somewhat back in the running now,” Turner told Mustangs Madness in an interview after the visit. “They are kind of like a dark horse so to say. I still have my official list, but SMU is still kind of in the mix.”

Turner is ranked as the No. 2 prospect in the 2014 incoming class.

SMU currently has one commit for the class of 2014 in Emmanuel Mudiay, the No. 5 player in the class of 2014. Turner says that Mudiay and he have discussed the idea of playing together.

“Sometimes I talk to Emmanuel Mudiay about the possibility of playing here with him,” Turner said in the interview. “He hits me up. Recently, Keith Frazier has been hitting me up on Twitter a lot, too. I wouldn’t say it’s anything too serious though. ”
