With a deal in place, the New York Knicks are planning Phil Jackson introductory press conference for Tuesday on the floor of Madison Square Garden.

Though Jackson and the Knicks have reached an agreement in principle, the Garden has continued to issue no comments with the contract not yet officially signed.

The Knicks will give Jackson the title of team president.
