The Cleveland Cavaliers and their 2011 second round draft pick, Milan Macvan, had been expected to start preliminary negotiations, but Macvan now is solely concentrating on a new contract in Europe, a source told RealGM.

Macvan’s deal with Galatasaray of Turkey had expired this offseason, and the 24-year-old forward had shown a willingness to negotiate a move to Cleveland. FC Bayern Munich and Alba Berlin have emerged as top suitors for Macvan, a source said.

In his second season with Galatasaray, Macvan, a 6-foot-8 forward, averaged 6.6 points and 4.5 rebounds and 50.5 percent shooting from the field.

Cleveland selected Macvan with the 54th overall pick in 2011.
