Robert Sarver met with Rich Paul in Cleveland on Thursday to discuss the possibility of LeBron James signing with the Phoenix Suns, according to a sources that spoke with Chris Broussard.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks have also met with Paul.

The Suns could make space to sign both James and either Carmelo Anthony or Chris Bosh while keeping a talented young core together.

James is letting his agent handle the initial stages of free agency before the two discuss next steps.

"As there was in 2010, there is only one way to truly recruit LeBron: talent. The roster matters more than virtually anything," wrote Brian Windhorst.

"LeBron seems ready to explore market," said one of the teams interested in James to Adrian Wojnarowski.

"There's clearly a breakdown in communication between LeBron and (Wade and Bosh)."

Wojnarowski also reports that three finalists could return to Cleveland early next week to make presentations with James present.
