Free agent swingman Reggie Williams has agreed to a one-year contract with the Miami Heat, a league source told RealGM.

Williams held discussions with NBA teams in free agency, and his agents, Herb Rudoy and Ronald Shade, finalized the deal with the Heat on Thursday.

Williams spent the majority of the 2013-14 season with the Tulsa 66ers of the Development League and received multiple call-ups to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He scored 11 points in over 16 total minutes last season for the Thunder.

Williams has played parts of five seasons in the NBA, averaging 8.5 points and 37 percent three-point shooting with three teams. He scored 15.2 points per game in a call-up with the Golden State Warriors four years ago.

Yahoo! Sports first reported that Williams was nearing an agreement with Miami.
