The Phoenix Suns inquired with the Minnesota Timberwolves about a possible deal for Kevin Love just hours before an anticipated deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers is scheduled to become official.

The Suns are offering Eric Bledose in a sign-and-trade agreement.

The Cavaliers and Wolves have had an agreement in place on Love for weeks, and it remains intact, sources said.

Bledsoe has been seeking a five-year, $85 million max contract and would consider only a max deal in a sign-and-trade, which would be four years and $64 million.

Bledsoe is prepared to play for the Suns under the one-year, $3.7 million qualifying offer.

The Suns offered Bledsoe a four-year, $48 million contract similar to what Kyle Lowry received from the Toronto Raptors.
