The Houston Rockets signed Tarik Black to a two-year, partially guaranteed contract, a league source told RealGM.

The Rockets announced the signing on Wednesday afternoon.

Black, a 6-foot-8 forward, played 13 games for Houston in the July summer league.

After three seasons at Memphis, Black transferred to the University of Kansas where he averaged 5.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game as a senior. He went undrafted in June.
