The Washington Wizards have reached agreement with guard Vander Blue for a contract to training camp, league sources told RealGM.

With Garrett Temple dealing with a nagging injury heading into camp, the Wizards had brought Blue and other guards into workouts over the past couple days. Blue also worked out for the San Antonio Spurs last week, but Washington leaned toward a deal with the 6-foot-4 combo guard after its meeting.

As a junior out of Marquette, Blue, 22, went unselected in the 2013 NBA draft and signed two contracts last season: a multi-year camp deal with the Philadelphia 76ers and a 10-day deal with the Boston Celtics.

Blue scored five points in his three games for the Celtics.
