Kevin Durant will make his return to the Oklahoma City Thunder lineup on Tuesday at the New Orleans Pelicans.

Durant has been out to start the season after undergoing surgery on his right foot to repair a Jones fracture in mid-October. The typical recovery time is six to eight weeks for this type of injury.

Durant won the 2014 NBA MVP.

Doctors have told Durant that there's only a five percent chance of him breaking the foot again.

Anthony Slater of the Oklahoman reports Durant will be on a minute restriction around 30.
