With a dearth of quality trade offers, the Charlotte Hornets are keeping Lance Stephenson "for now," according to sources.

Stephenson has had a problematic start to his tenure with the Hornets after signing a three-year, $27 million contract.

The Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets are among seven clubs that showed interest in Stephenson.

The Hornets also feel Stephenson's lingering groin injury has prevented him from being at 100 percent this season. The Hornets want to rest Stephenson, let him heal and see if he can either fit in with Charlotte or re-establish his trade value.
