Ryan Kelly is ready to return to the Los Angeles Lakers from a hamstring tear.

After six weeks of rehab, Kelly has been able to participate fully in practice without any warning signs.

“I haven’t had any problems,” he said. “We’ve given it plenty of time to heal and strengthen. I think I’m in a good position to put this behind me.”

The Lakers’ second round draft pick in 2013 averaged eight points and 3.7 rebounds in 22 minutes per game.

“I know I can find minutes for Ryan,” Byron Scott said, “because I like the way Ryan plays, he gives us something we don’t have which is a stretch four. A very intelligent basketball player.”
